SUMMARY:The Sunshine Boys
DESCRIPTION:Al and Willie as “Lewis and Clark” were top-billed vaudevillians for over forty years. Now they aren’t even speaking. When CBS requests them for a “History of Comedy” retrospective\, a grudging reunion brings the two back together\, along with a flood of memories\, miseries\, and laughs. \nThe story follows the attempt by a young theatrical agent to reunite his elderly uncle\, a former vaudevillian great\, with his long-time stage partner for a TV reunion. Despite their celebrated reputation\, the two old men have not spoken in twelve years. Besides remastering their sketch\, the two men have numerous issues to work out before they are ready to return to the public eye.

Argenta Downtown Council has teamed up with community partners North Little Rock Tourism and ACANSA Arts Festival of the South to fill the weekend with incredible live music\, beginning Friday night and running from 2-9 pm on Saturday.\nWhether you’re a music lover\, a foodie\, or an animal advocate\, there’s something for everyone! See the full lineup of events listed below.\n\nFriday\, September 13 \n4 pm: Kick off the weekend with a delicious drink during Dogtown Happy Hour \n7 pm: Adam Faucett\, known for his soulful voice and genre-blending style that combines folk\, blues\, and rock\, will kick off Americana on Main\, presented by North Little Rock Tourism\, showcasing Americana music talent from across the region. \nSaturday\, September 14 \n11 am – 2 pm: Meet adorable animals from the NLR Animal Shelter and maybe even find your new forever companion. \n12-2 pm: Indulge in champagne or mimosa specials from various Argenta restaurants during “Sparkling Saturday” as we toast to the weekend in style.  \n2 pm-9 pm: Americana on Main continues! \n2 pm: Emmy-nominated composer and creative director King Honey will perform an electrifying rock n roll set infused with her signature style on the main stage. \n3 pm: Little Yei and Pura Coco will bring their unique blend of Latin-infused alternative R&B and hip-hop to the Argenta Library stage.. \n4 pm: Greg Spradlin & The Delta Soul Singers\, known for their gritty blend of Southern rock\, blues\, and gospel\, will bring a powerful and soulful performance to the main stage. \n5:30 pm: Sit back\, relax\, and enjoy the acoustic sounds of Chris “Bucket” Shelton as he performs live outside Blackberry Market. \n7 pm: Gangstagrass\, the Emmy-nominated\, Billboard-charting band known for its dynamism and spontaneity – and the theme song for Justified\, the FX television show – will take over the main stage for an unforgettable finale to the weekend. The group is founded and led by Brooklyn producer Rench and combines authentic bluegrass and rap into a new genre.This performance is presented by ACANSA Arts Festival of the South. \n\nDogtown Throwdown is hosted by Argenta Downtown Council\, sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka\, Ben E.
