DESCRIPTION:Big Dam Horns will be performing at Argenta Plaza as part of The National Print & Sign Owners Association conference happening this week. Join conference attendees at the FREE concert for a fun night out for a good cause. The concert will benefit and create awareness for Providence Park.\nFood trucks and refreshments will be available for purchase!\n\n\nAbout Providence Park\n\nFounded in North Little Rock\, Arkansas\, the organization serves its homeless neighbors through its core project\, Providence Park. As a result of years of study and research\, and connections with our chronically homeless neighbors\, we have decided to replicate Community First! Village in Austin\, Texas. We believe\, along with Alan Graham and his team in Austin\, that the single greatest cause of homelessness is a profound\, catastrophic loss of family. It’s from this understanding and learning alongside the staff at Community First! Village\, that a replicator village is needed in central Arkansas to provide long term care and support for our brothers and sisters in need. \nIn partnership with Pulaski County\, we are creating a 50-acre master planned community that provides affordable\, permanent housing and a supportive community for individuals coming out of chronic homelessness. \n\n\nAbout NPSOA\n\n\nNPSOA’s mission statement is simple\, yet ambitious. The National Print & Sign Owners Association is dedicated to delivering a variety of products and services that enhance the growth and profitability of its members through advocacy\, educational programs\, publications\, research\, and the sharing of technical information. We seek to serve a broad audience involved in the graphic communications industry\, which includes printing and copying firms\, and those firms offering mailing services\, sign-making and large format printing.

Paul O’Neill dreamed of a different kind of “band” that is not limited by the confines of traditional rock acts and instead established one with multiple singers who could inhabit the various characters he was writing into his rock operas. \nAlthough TSO is best known for their Capra-esque trilogy of holiday records – Christmas Eve & Other Stories\, The Christmas Attic\, and The Lost Christmas Eve – they have also released several other rock operas. Beethoven’s Last Night (2000) was the first of these non-holiday rock operas and tells a compelling tale of a battle for Beethoven’s soul between good and evil. It features instrumental crossovers between classical composers and contemporary rock\, along with original vocal tracks featuring Patti Russo (Meatloaf) as the character Teresa\, Beethoven’s love. Later albums take on great themes such as war and redemption\, namely Night Castle (2009). Night Castle was TSO’s first Top 5 album debut and included a bonus track featuring Greg Lake (Emerson\, Lake & Palmer\, King Crimson)\, who was one of TSO’s greatest influences. Letters From The Labyrinth (2015) was another Top 10 release for TSO. In total\, TSO has sold in excess of 12 million albums and DVDs. \nConsistently one of the Top 25 touring acts in the country\, TSO shows no signs of slowing down. Since its touring debut in 1999\, TSO has played over 2\,000 Winter Tour shows for more than 18 million fans. So far TSO has also donated over $18 million from these tours to local charities. \nAt the time of his passing\, O’Neill had several TSO projects in various stages of completion at his recording studio in Florida. He also had two finalized rock operas: Romanov: When Kings Must Whisper\, about the 1917 Russian Revolution\, along with a live concert adaptation of Night Castle. O’Neill also planned to eventually bring the TSO experience to Broadway. Nearly 25 years after the release of their first album\, Trans-Siberian Orchestra continues to create and live on.

There will also be a salsa contest that guests can participate in for $10 where they will get to sample local salsas and vote for their favorite.

Libations and culinary delights from local food trucks will add an extra layer of excitement to this already exhilarating experience.\nThe weekend coincides with Argenta Dogtown Throwdown\, during which Main Street from Broadway to 5th Street in North Little Rock is closed for outdoor dining and entertainment. Attendees of both events are welcome to stroll between the two\, and even bring drinks with them as Argenta Plaza is part of the Argenta Outdoor Dining District. Throwdown will occur from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. on Saturday.
