DESCRIPTION:Dogtown Throwdown Returns September 11–12 \nAfter a summer break\, Dogtown Throwdown is back—bringing live music\, family fun\, great food\, and plenty of reasons to spend the weekend in Argenta. \nJoin us September 11–12 as Main Street comes alive with local restaurants\, outdoor entertainment\, and neighborhood favorites. Whether you’re meeting friends for happy hour\, bringing the kids out to play\, or staying late for live music\, Dogtown Throwdown is the perfect excuse to kick off fall in the Arts District. \nFriday\, September 11 \nStart the weekend with a Happy Hour Kickoff beginning at 4 p.m. as Argenta’s bars and restaurants welcome everyone back after the summer break. Then stick around for live music from Trey Johnson at 7 p.m. in front of Argenta Library. \nSaturday\, September 12 \nSaturday is packed with activities for all ages. \nFrom 12–2 p.m.\, enjoy Sparkling Saturday with champagne and mimosa specials at participating Main Street restaurants. DESCRIPTION:Dogtown Throwdown Closes out the Season October 9–10 \nOctober’s event is all about celebrating the dogs of Argenta with a weekend of pet-friendly activities\, local specials\, live music and fall fun throughout the district. \nSaturday’s festivities begin with the annual Blessing of the Animals by Argenta United Methodist Church from 12–1 pm at the Argenta Library. Bring your pup to take part in this beloved Argenta tradition. \nThroughout the day\, enjoy lawn games and “Sparkling Saturday” champagne and mimosa specials\, then stop by 4th St. from 4:30–7 pm to meet adoptable pets at the NLR Animal Shelter Mobile Adoption Unit. \nAt 6 pm\, don’t miss the Dogtown Catwalk Fashion Show\, featuring Argenta neighbors and their dogs strutting their stuff on 4th St. It’s a fun celebration of the dogs who are part of our community and the people who love them. \nThe evening continues with live music at 7 pm\, giving you plenty of time to grab a bite\, enjoy a drink and explore Argenta with your favorite four-legged companion. \nFriday’s festivities include a Happy Hour Kickoff at 4 pm\, an Argenta Mural Tour at 6 pm and live music from Rob & Tyndall – Mojo Duo at 7 pm. \n\n\n\n\nBring your pup\, grab a seat on a dog-friendly patio and enjoy all the fun\, while supporting the local restaurants that make Argenta such a great place to gather! \nTHANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS:Ben E.
