DESCRIPTION:As a recording and touring artist\, James has touched people with his warm baritone voice and distinctive style of guitar-playing for more than 50 years\, while setting a precedent to which countless young musicians have aspired. Over the course of his celebrated songwriting and performing career\, he has sold more than 100 million albums\, earning gold\, platinum and multi-platinum awards since the release of his self-titled debut album in 1968. In 2015\, he released Before This World\, the first-ever #1 album of his illustrious career. James has won multiple GRAMMY Awards\, has been inducted into both the Rock and Roll and the prestigious Songwriters Halls of Fame and in February 2006\, The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences selected him its MUSICARES Person of the Year. He was also awarded the distinguished Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French government and the National Medal of Arts by President Barack Obama in 2012. \n  \nIn November of 2015\, James was presented with the Presidential Medal of Freedom\, the Nation’s highest civilian honor and in December of 2016 he received the Kennedy Center Honors\, which are presented annually to individuals who have enriched American culture by distinguished achievement in the performing arts.  In early 2020 he released Break Shot\, a deeply personal and authentic audio-only memoir detailing his first 21 years. He also released his newest album\, American Standard\, his 19th studio album\, which earned him the 2021 Grammy Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album and gave him the honor of being the first artist to have a Billboard Top 10 album in each of the past six decades.

DESCRIPTION:Finger Food is a feast not only for guitar lovers\, but also for anyone with a passion for acoustic music. The guitarists perform “in the round” and trade songs and stories about their compositions and their approach to the guitar in a casual concert setting. The music focuses on contemporary instrumental American Fingerstyle Guitar with folk\, jazz\, Celtic\, classical and blues influences. \n  \nFULL BIO: \nThe guitarists are very different stylistically and these different styles contribute to an evening of broad musical tastes. They will play solo\, duets and trio work.  The guitarists also will be performing on some very unique custom built instruments and historic instruments. \nDanny Dozier is a legendary guitarist in the state of Arkansas. Danny’s solo performances showcase his wide range of guitar styles and his superb choice of material. He has performed at the Ozark Folk Center in many configurations over the years\, fronts the Danny Dozier Band at gigs around the state and the country and is the two-time winner of the Merle Travis Fingerstyle Guitar Championship at the Ozark Folk Center. Danny has just released a CD with fiddler extraordinaire and producer Tim Crouch. \nSteve Davison is a Little Rock guitarist who performs on the 6 and 12 string guitar. He tours the country with artists such as Ken Bonfield and Peter Janson. They have performed at acoustic venues around the country and shared the stage artist such as Larry Coryell\, Muriel Anderson\, Peter Janson\, Tim Farrell\, Dakota Dave Hull\, Ken Bonfield\, Doug Young\, Teja Gerken\, Tim Sparks and other guitarists.. Steve was also the winner of the 2005 Arkansas Acoustic Music Festival in the solo category and has been a featured artist on AETN Presents. Steve has performed at the Montreal Guitar Festival\, the Healdsburg Guitar Festival in California and the Memphis Guitar Festical in Tennessee. In 2015 Steve won the Ozark Folk Center\, Merle Travis Fingerstyle Guitar competition in the contemporary section. Steve was chosen Guitarist of the Year for 2019 by the Arkansas Country Music Associatio. Micky has an extensive repertoire and is an accomplished player of the guitar and the banjo.

SUMMARY:ZZ Top & Lynyrd Skynyrd: The Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour
DESCRIPTION:“That Little Ol’ Band From Texas” has been at it for well over a half century delivering rock\, blues and boogie on stage and studio to millions of devoted fans. With iconography as distinctive as their sound\, ZZ TOP is globally recognized with their beards\, hotrod cars\, spinning guitars and that magic keychain\, all of which transcend geography and language. \nIt was in 1969 Houston when ZZ TOP coalesced from the core of two rival bands\, Billy Gibbons’ Moving Sidewalks and Frank Beard and Dusty Hill’s American Blues. ZZ Top’s 1973 release\, Tres Hombres\, catapulted them to national attention with the hit “La Grange\,” still one of the band’s signature pieces today. Eliminator\, their 1983 album was something of a paradigm shift for ZZ TOP. Their roots blues skew was intact and added to the mix came their hightech-age trappings that soon found a visual outlet with such tracks as “Sharp Dressed Man” and “Legs” on the nascent MTV. It was one of the record industry’s first albums to have been certified Diamond\, far beyond Gold and Platinum\, a reflection of sales exceeding 10 million units. \nAs a touring outfit\, they’ve been without peer over the past five decades\, having performed before millions of fans over four continents and have been the subject of their own Grammy-nominated documentary titled That Little Ol’ Band From Texas.  The band’s line-up of the bearded Gibbons and Hill and Beard\, who ironically is clean shaven\, remained intact for more than 50 years.  When Dusty temporarily departed the tour in the summer of 2021\, Elwood Francis entered the picture accepting the directive from Dusty to be the perfect choice to stand in on the bass-guitar and now handles the low-end duties for the band for the present as well as into the future. \nThe elements that keep ZZ TOP fresh\, enduring can be summed up in the three words of the band’s internal mantra: “Tone\, Taste and Tenacity”. As genuine roots performers\, they have few peers. Their influences are both the originators of the form – Muddy Waters\, B.B. King\, Jimmy Reed\, et al – as well as the British blues rockers and Jimi Hendrix who emerged generations before ZZ’s ascendance. \nThey have sold hundreds of millions of records over the course of their career\, have been officially designated as Heroes of The State of Texas\, inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (by Keith Richards\, no less) and have been referenced in countless cartoons and sitcoms. They are true rock icons and\, against all odds\, they’re really just doing what they’ve always done. ZZ TOP abides!
