DESCRIPTION:Moon Block Party is hosted by North Little Rock Tourism and Argenta Plaza\nComing from out-of-town to experience the 2024 Solar Eclipse? North Little Rock Tourism welcomes you to Argenta Plaza\, our city’s “front porch\,” to enjoy food trucks\, entertainment and eclipse activities before and after totality. Free and open to the public.\nActivities will be going on in Argenta Plaza all weekend\, so beat the traffic\, come early and have fun in North Little Rock.\nFood trucks and Flyway Brewing will be set up Saturday\, Sunday and Monday.\nSaturday\, April 6:\n– Vendor market 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.\n– Silent Disco (maximum 100 capacity at a time) – 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.\nSunday\, April 7:\n– pop-up fitness activities\n– Mayday by Midnight (live music) – 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.\nMonday\, April 8:\n– Main Street from Broadway to 6th closed for pedestrians\n– Food trucks & vendors open at 11 a.m.\n– The Six Piece Suits (live music) 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.\n– Eclipse: 12:34 p.m. – 3:12 p.m

Join us and other members of our community as we gather under the shadow of the total solar eclipse traversing across our nation.\nStarting at 9:00 am\, The Innovation Hub will be providing FREE family-friendly drop-in activities while you wait for the total solar eclipse!\n\nWe invite you to use your creativity and embrace your imagination with all of the offerings at The Hub!\nEnter and explore a life-sized Geodesic Dome filled with light and shadows!\nScreen print your very own eclipse-inspired t-shirt or tote bag!\nCreate commemorative artful button pins!\nBuild a scene and develop and narrate a shadow play using our shadow theaters!\nWalk the Argenta Arts District Solar Walk!\nSafely view the Solar Eclipse from 12:33 pm to 3:11 pm\, with totality expected at 1:52 pm\, while wearing free Solar Eclipse glasses from The Hub.\n\nThis Solar Eclipse Watch Party Experience is brought to you through the amazing generosity of the Simons Solar Foundation and the Arkansas Space Grant Consortium.\nOur drop-in activities are supported by the Simons Foundation and are part of its ‘In the Path of Totality’ initiative.
