Join us and other members of our community as we gather under the shadow of the total solar eclipse traversing across our nation.\nStarting at 9:00 am\, The Innovation Hub will be providing FREE family-friendly drop-in activities while you wait for the total solar eclipse!\n\nWe invite you to use your creativity and embrace your imagination with all of the offerings at The Hub!\nEnter and explore a life-sized Geodesic Dome filled with light and shadows!\nScreen print your very own eclipse-inspired t-shirt or tote bag!\nCreate commemorative artful button pins!\nBuild a scene and develop and narrate a shadow play using our shadow theaters!\nWalk the Argenta Arts District Solar Walk!\nSafely view the Solar Eclipse from 12:33 pm to 3:11 pm\, with totality expected at 1:52 pm\, while wearing free Solar Eclipse glasses from The Hub.\n\nThis Solar Eclipse Watch Party Experience is brought to you through the amazing generosity of the Simons Solar Foundation and the Arkansas Space Grant Consortium.\nOur drop-in activities are supported by the Simons Foundation and are part of its ‘In the Path of Totality’ initiative. SUMMARY:Arkansas Travelers: Total Eclipse of the Park
DESCRIPTION:Join the Travs at Dickey-Stephens Park on Monday\, April 8\, for an exclusive viewing of the rare total eclipse! This total solar eclipse will begin at 12:30 PM\, where it will progress to totality at 1:51 PM\, and is expected to last for approximately two minutes and 30 seconds. \nAdmission to the ballpark on April 8 is FREE! Parking adjacent to the stadium will be available for purchase on that date. Concessions will also be available for purchase inside the park. Further activities preceding and following the eclipse will be announced at a later date and will be out of this world! \nPersonal telescopes will be allowed into the stadium for the eclipse event\, but all cases and equipment must be pre-registered and will be subject to search in accordance with Dickey-Stephens Park’s Clear Bag Policy. Pre-registration information will be available soon! \n\n\nSnapple Elements® Eclipse Glasses Giveaway\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOn Saturday\, April 6\, and Sunday\, April 7\, we will be giving away special edition Travelers-themed eclipse glasses\, presented by Snapple Elements®. This giveaway is available to the first 1\,000 attendees on each night. \nWe will be giving away an additional 1\,000 glasses on the day of April 8.
