The Argenta Vibe Music Series returns to Argenta Green on Saturday, September 19, for an evening of live music, art, and community in partnership with ACANSA Arts Festival. While construction continues at Argenta Plaza, we’re making the most of it with another concert in the open green space just across the street. The festivities begin at 4 pm with ACANSA Family Arts Day, featuring free, hands-on art activities and creative experiences for children and families. Family Arts Day continues through 7 PM, offering the perfect opportunity to spend the afternoon exploring downtown Argenta before the evening concert.
The evening’s featured artist is Bella Rayne Band, led by 18-year-old guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Bella Rayne. A self-taught musician, Rayne has quickly emerged as a rising force in Americana and roots-rock, blending Southern rock, Americana and the improvisational spirit of the jam-band tradition.mHer high-energy, guitar-driven performances have already taken her to stages across the country, where she has shared the stage with artists including Allman Betts Family Revival, Melvin Seals & JGB, ALO, Jackie Greene and Oteil Burbridge. Bella Rayne Band brings that momentum to Argenta for an outdoor evening of live music.
Opening the evening at Family Arts Day is Candy Lee, an award-winning singer/songwriter with a “golden voice” and a gift for storytelling. A 2024 Arkansas Country Music Awards nominee for Songwriter of the Year, she has toured nationally, recorded three original indie-folk albums and two original children’s albums, and inspired young songwriters in elementary classrooms.
Following Candy is Arkansas singer-songwriter Amy Garland, whose rural Louisiana roots shine through a distinctive blend of folk, R&B, bluegrass, pop and country. A longtime performer and songwriter, Garland has shared the stage with Billy Joe Shaver, Hayes Carll, Todd Snider and Marcia Ball and currently hosts Americana-focused “Backroads” on Little Rock’s KABF 88.3 FM.
